B- CONDITIONS
1) Horizontal transfers to equivalent degree programs (from associate degree to associate degree programs; from undergraduate programs to undergraduate programs) can be made within the quotas determined by the relevant board of directors, starting from the second semester and including the fifth semester. 2) In order to apply for horizontal transfer between diploma programs accepting students at the same level, the central placement score received by the student in the score type valid for the diploma program he/she wants to transfer to as of the year he/she took the central exam must not be less than the lowest base score of the diploma programs of other universities in the country that are equivalent to the diploma program he/she wants to transfer to (Annex-2). 3) Students can only apply for horizontal transfer to one diploma program of the same unit. However, regular education students who apply for horizontal transfer can also apply to the diploma program they are applying for if it has a second education (evening education) program. However, students who transfer pay the fee for the program they are transferred to. 4) Horizontal transfers from evening education programs to evening education diploma programs are possible only within the quota. However, students who are in the top 10% of their class in terms of success from evening education to evening education and move up to the next grade can transfer to evening education diploma programs within the quota. 5) Students who register to our University departments/programs through Inter-Institutional Transfer are required to study at least one semester in the department/program they registered in order to be able to make an intra-institutional transfer. Students who register through Vertical Transfer cannot apply for intra-institutional transfer. 6) It is possible to transfer from open or distance education to other open or distance education diploma programs. In order to transfer from open and distance education to formal education programs, the student's general grade point average in the program he/she is studying must be at least 2.40 out of 4 or the central placement score in the year he/she registered must be equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program he/she wants to transfer to. 7) It is possible to transfer from first or second education diploma programs to open or distance education diploma programs. However, students who transfer pay the fee for the program they transfer to. 8) In transfers from diploma programs that accept students through central placement to diploma programs that accept students through special talent exams, in addition to other conditions, passing the talent exam is also required. Horizontal transfers cannot be made from diploma programs that accept students through special talent exams to diploma programs that accept students through central placement. 9) Since there is horizontal transfer between equivalent programs, only students registered in diploma programs where the language of instruction is thirty percent English are accepted to diploma programs where the language of instruction is thirty percent English. Students who have passed the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam or who can document that they have received a score of 60 from YDS or one of the international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education are accepted to diploma programs with a Compulsory Foreign Language Preparatory Class as required by the Senate of our University. 10) Applications can be made to more than one program at the same time for internal horizontal transfer, but students can only enroll in one program according to their preference. 11) The student must have completed all courses in the diploma program he/she will leave up until the semester he/she will transfer to within the normal time period, have a GPA of at least 2.40 out of 4, and have not received any disciplinary punishment.
